Hacked SoftFSB 1.7f
OK, I inserted a couple of changes via a hex editor into the famous SoftFSB (version 1.7f) so you can adjust 31 different FSB settings inside of Windows (Win9x/ME/NT/2K). Here are the available FSB speeds:
95, 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 133, 135, 136, 138, 140, 142, 144, 146 and 150
Much better selection than default, huh? ;) The same limitations that affect setting < 133MHz speeds with the jumper in the 100MHz position, and >= 133MHz speed in the 133MHz position, still apply.
FSB speeds supported with 100MHz FSB jumper setting: 95MHz and 100MHz-119MHz in 1MHz increments.
FSB speeds supported with 133MHz FSB jumper setting: 120MHz, 133MHz, 135MHz, 136MHz, 138MHz, 140MHz, 142MHz, 144MHz, 146MHz and 150MHz.
If you try to use the settings for the other speeds, you'll get a hard lock up. In other words, you can't set 100MHz in SoftFSB when the 100/133 jumper is set to 133MHz. See the table below for a breakdown of each setting.
